The average bonus comes in at about $43,000, but some hospitalists earn more than twice that much

DATA FROM OUR most recent survey show that on average, hospitalists who treat adults get $43,448 of their annual pay from bonuses and incentives. But that number effectively doubles for some in the specialty. Here’s an overview of incentive pay for different hospitalist groups.
